 This Herbal Compatibility Policy ensures that every coffee, tea, laddu, or skincare ritual we craft is pure, safe, and energetically aligned — guided by Ayurveda and validated by modern science.

• Ensure safe and synergistic combinations of herbs and botanicals. 
• Guide our R&D and sourcing teams in maintaining purity and consistency.
• Protect our community from energetically conflicting or unsafe herbal pairings.

Each ERAYA creation is crafted through five sacred Ayurvedic principles that guide every stage of formulation — from sourcing to blending to tasting.

Rasa (Taste):
The first expression of a herb’s power. At ERAYA, every flavor is intentionally aligned with its therapeutic purpose — so that taste itself becomes healing.

Guna (Quality):
The inherent nature of the ingredient — its heaviness, lightness, warmth, or moisture. We balance these qualities to create comfort for the senses while preserving therapeutic depth.

Virya (Energy):
The energetic potency of a herb — whether it cools or warms the body. Our blends are meticulously designed to maintain tridoshic balance, ensuring harmony between Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

Vipaka (Post-digestive Effect):
The subtle transformation that occurs after digestion. Each ERAYA blend is formulated to sustain long-term metabolic vitality and internal balance.

Prabhava (Unique Potency):
The divine individuality of a herb — a quality that defies logic yet defines its soul. We honor this mystery with reverence, blending with intuition and scientific respect in equal measure.

At ERAYA, we believe in synergy, not just safety.
Our formulations are designed so that every ingredient supports, enhances, and elevates the other — creating blends that don’t just heal the body but also awaken the senses.

Some of our most cherished pairings include the grounding strength of Ashwagandha with the nourishing grace of Shatavari, the tranquil clarity that comes when Brahmi meets Gotukola, and the deep detoxifying power of Turmeric enhanced by the absorption wisdom of Black Pepper.

We also blend Licorice with Ginger for digestive harmony, Tulsi with Lemongrass for immune clarity and freshness, and Triphala with Ghee for a gentle yet rejuvenating cleanse.

Each of these combinations has been tested and approved through ERAYA’s Synergy Validation Framework (SVF) — our proprietary standard for energetic harmony that ensures every blend delivers both pleasure and purpose.

Even divine herbs can lose their grace when paired without awareness.
Ayurveda teaches that harmony is as much about what we combine as what we avoid — and at ERAYA, we honour that wisdom without compromise.

We never combine Amla with Milk, since their sour and heavy natures can cause digestive curdling.
We avoid mixing Honey and Ghee in equal parts, a combination traditionally regarded as toxic.
Tulsi with Milk is also excluded, as their opposing energies — heating and cooling — disturb balance.
Pairing Aloe Vera with Haritaki can be over-laxative and dehydrating, while Turmeric with Neem creates excessive dryness, depleting Ojas, the body’s vital essence.

We refrain from blending Ashwagandha with Guggulu due to their conflicting effects on body tissues, and Licorice with Salt, which may promote sodium retention.
Triphala with Milk is avoided to prevent the clash between cleansing and nourishing actions, and Fenugreek with Bitter Gourd in high doses can risk hypoglycemia.
Lastly, we limit the trio of Brahmi, Shankhpushpi, and Jatamansi in large quantities, as their collective sedative power can become excessive.
